BOONTON, NJ September 14, 2010 - On August 31, 2010 Dennis Budinich (co-founder of FTC Methods Inc.) attended the Pennsylvania Association Of Community Bankers 133rd Annual Convention annual conference titled Remembering The Past, Anticipating The Future at the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL. Dennis Budinich - The Motivated Banker – conducted a powerful workshop at the convention titled Thriving in the New Normal: 4 New Norms That Are Impacting Results. During the presentation, Dennis provided information on the latest trends in the economy and their impact on the way that banks will need to approach their business. Dennis summarized his presentation as follows: "The harshest portion of the recession has passed us by and those who have survived find themselves in an economy which many are calling the New Normal. New because everything from the way our competition operates, to the resources we have, to the decisions our clients make, to the regulations that guide us have all changed due to the recession. Normal because this new set of rules will be here for a while. The challenge for every organization who wants to thrive in this ultra-competitive environment is to prepare their people to perform in a market place that will not accept mediocrity." Dennis encouraged bank leaders to shed old ways of doing business and to embrace philosophies that other business outside of banking have embraced to not only survive in the New Normal, but Thrive. Some of the topics he covered included: Understanding and adapting to higher client expectations. How to hire, train, and develop employees who can excel in the New Normal. Learning new ways to capture “A Level Clients” that produce revenue. Areas for individuals and departments to analyze in order to increase profits and decrease losses.
